Too..much...sugar

I've been going to bed later lately, and by later I mean like 11:00PM. Which, from what I understand, is NOT actually late for a 25 year old. That time, apparently, is a pretty standard bed time. But for me, I'm either 6 or 86 and should be asleep by 10 if I want to accomplish everything for the next day.

Part of the reason I have been pushing the bed time up is because I've been having WAY too much sugar/caffeine right before I hit the hay.

I'm still coming off my sugar filled fantastic holiday where I said, "F-it" and ate whatever chocolate thingy I wanted. It's been a little harder to break the habit than I thought it would be. Lately, I've been drinking my caffeine-filled Diet Coke and some form of snack IN BED. (Your bed is for sleeping, not for eating!)

Here are some new 'rules' I have laid out for myself:

- No sugar/snacks after 8:00PM. (This is good practice for anyone)
- Diet Coke is not an every night thing.
- No more eating in bed.

I think 3 rules is enough for today...I'm not about to put myself through the ringer...I just want better sleep.
